SVS is delighted to welcome Norwegian DJ Vemund Brune Hareide - aka Mitmitta - to our airwaves. Having lived in Ethiopia for over a decade, he is a passionate and extensive collector of cassettes and vinyl from this region of Eastern Africa and specialises in creating distinct musical sets that span experimental jazz, mystical, processional, up-tempo musics, and much more. ‘B-sides and rarities from Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan’ is precisely as the title says and musical gold dust for the curious listener.
