Gregor Riddell plays the cello and writes music. Original projects include BirdWorld and Tre Voci, having also been a founder member of Solstice String Quartet, Living Room in London and Odysseus Piano Trio. He's a principle player with London Contemporary Orchestra collaborating with artists including Radiohead, Qasim Naqvi, Sarah Davachi, Actress, Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch, among many others. Since living in Norway he has performed with artists and ensembles including Mette Henriette, Hildur Guðnadóttir, JAR, Ola Kvernberg, 1816, Neon and Cikada Ensembles; recorded chamber works by Simon Steen-Andersen with the Oslo Sinfonietta; and, recently formed a improvising trio with Karl Nyberg and Bernt Isak Wærstad called KGB.
Alongside Rob Lewis, he runs SVS and lives both in London and Oslo.
